DARPA, or Developing Artsists’ Repository and Production Annex is an experimental art endeavor carried out through Ily2’s rotating artist space, Ily2 Too, inside the Lloyd Center in the heart of Portland, OR. Organized through the efforts of Beck Alfaro along with the energized nebulous of creatives around them working through similar aesthetic concerns. The works of DARPA are collaborative and feed into each other- they are inextricably linked through feeling, fabrication, and ideas. In a broader sense, DARPA seeks to explore the transfer of influence and the ways in which artists across media activate different instances of each other.
